The ICT Law and Economy Institute at Sogang University held a seminar on "Law and Policy Issues on Platform Competition and Data-Driven Economy".


 Part 1 discusses the various characteristics of platform competition, legal and policy issues based on it, and Part 2 discusses the legal and policy issues arising from the characteristics of the data-centric economy.



It was a meaningful time to discuss prominent professors and practitioners in law and economics, discuss platform competition and data-driven economics, and draw implications.

Prof. Lee SungYup of Sogang University took charge of proceeding the seminar. A Seminar on "Sharing Economy and Regulation Policy" 2017-05-15 16:46:22


The ICT Law and Economy Institute at Sogang University held a seminar on "Sharing Economy and Regulation Policy" with Korea University ICR Center and Law Firm Yulchon.

 

Sharing Economy contributes to market competition, increase consumer welfare, and create new jobs through the sharing, exchange, and lending of idle resources.

 

There is a need to actively discuss various issues and regulatory policies in the related field in order to appropriately utilize and establish Sharing Economy in a situation where there is a high interest in the shared economy all over the world.

 

The ICT Law and Economy Institute at Sogang University has invited various experts from relevant regulatory agencies, corporations and academia to discuss the economic and social effects of regulated economies and regulatory policies, as well as their implications.
